Reproductive Justice

The right to make decisions about your body and your reproductive health is just that—yours. It should not be up to politicians to police the choices you make when it comes to the decision to start a family. I firmly oppose the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and turn back reproductive rights in this country, and I am outraged at the statewide abortion bans currently preventing millions of Americans from receiving the care they need.

As a member of Congress and someone who has faced her own challenges with reproductive health, I am committed to safeguarding the rights of patients and providers as they make decisions about abortion, IVF, and contraception. I stand firmly with my colleagues in the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus and will continue to fight against unfair restrictions that jeopardize women's health and wellbeing. We won’t back down in the fight for reproductive freedom.
